Entry #8 Online School

Most students go to school in person. Not many families give the option for their children to decide on how they wanna to accomplish school. Online school can be a better option for many kids.

As someone who did high school online, I can say there are many benefits. Introverts may prefer online over in person. You don't need to worry about others opinions. If you are shy, you can just message your professor's or classmates. I loved this since I was always shy, especially during high school. I had a lot going on so doing classwork online gave me a lot of time for in-real-life activities. Some of these benefits may not seem like "benefits" to everyone. More extroverted people may prefer going in person. I still believe more people should consider online if they are a busy person that may not have time for in-person.

I think everyone should consider it and see if it fits their life. I also believe parents should let kids decide how they would like to do school (mostly high school kids). It really helped me out and it could help you out too!

  1. I strongly agree that parents should give their children the final decision on their education! As someone with severe social anxiety, switching to an online high school was the best option for me. I would often struggle in person because I was too focused on what my peers were thinking and how every movement I made could lead to an embarrassing outcome. Going online allowed me to focus more on my studies while also having more time for work to financially support myself after high school. I am glad that my parents gave me the choice to dictate my education!
